Alstom, the world leader in sustainable and smart mobility, inaugurated its new site in Aix-en-Provence this Friday, June 13. The ceremony was attended by Frédéric Wiscart, President of Alstom France, as well as Alstom customers, elected officials, and economic stakeholders from the region.

With this new site, the Alstom Group is acquiring innovative industrial resources to meet the challenges of tomorrow’s mobility:

Digital control and command for metros and trams meeting the highest safety and cybersecurity standards;

Electric charging systems for trams, buses, and even electric highways in the future to support European regulations banning thermal engines;

New megafactory for manufacturing high-power fuel cell systems from Helion Hydrogen Power, a key player in the hydrogen industry and a subsidiary of the Alstom Group.
