ETS and CBAM – implications for the hydrogen sector
17 October 2022Another big day for European hydrogen
19 October 2022Belgium’s Prime Minister Alexander De Croo proposed a revision of the country’s federal hydrogen strategy during his official visit on Tuesday (18 October) to the Port of Antwerp-Bruges.
According to a statement posted on the Port of Antwerp-Bruges website, the planned modification includes the establishment of a federal hydrogen council and it ‘aligns with the government’s broader energy objective of achieving the European goal of climate neutrality’.
The federal hydrogen strategy was approved late last year and is part of the transition to 100% renewable energy and climate neutrality.
