Plagazi secures €29.5m EU Grant to advance Waste-to-Hydrogen technology
5 November 2024HRS progresses hydrogen mobility deployment in Europe
6 November 2024UK technology firm Clean Power Hydrogen (CPH2) has signed a deal to allow an Irish developer to manufacture 2GW of its unique “membrane-free” electrolysers, starting in 2025.
The developer, Hidrigin, has outsourced manufacturing of CPH2’s technology to compatriot Jones Engineering, at the latter’s plant in County Carlow, in the east of the Republic of Ireland.
Electrolysers split water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen, which are typically separated via an ultra-fine membrane through which H2 can pass, but not O2.
