The Hydrogen Stream: Netherlands commissions 32-km hydrogen pipeline
22 May 2026Hydrogen-based e-fuels developer Power2X has taken final investment decision (FID) on its 20MW green hydrogen plant, expected to produce 2,000 tonnes-per-year (tpa) by mid-2028, after bringing John Cockerill onboard.
Located in Delfzijl, Netherlands, the Djewels project will be developed by Rely – a joint venture (JV) between Technip Energies and John Cockerill – which will also supply the site’s electrolysers.
Initially launched by HyCC, the facility’s original 2024 construction timeline was pushed back following the liquidation of intended electrolyser supplier McPhy.
