The aim of the Industrial Transformation Platform is to facilitate dialogue among policymakers, business leaders, NGOs, and other key stakeholders, including through a series of discussions and debates focused on the transformation of our European industry.

will deliver keynote speeches, before sitting down for an interactive discussion. The event will also feature three panels consisting of a number of high-level speakers focusing on key topics. Please find below the draft program for the full list of speakers.

The topics of the three panels will be:

  • Energy for the future

This session will explore the hurdles facing climate-friendly technologies such as fuel cells, geothermal energy, ocean, wind and solar energy, and the concrete political regulatory framework required to accelerate their take-up and diversify the EU’s energy supply.

  • Resilient supply chains

Supply chains have been heavily affected by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine, and other global challenges. This panel aims to find concrete strategies to balance resilience and efficiency to secure the networks of supply chains.

  • Alternative powertrains

Electric vehicles, hydrogen fuel cells, and other types of alternative powertrains are gaining traction and will power our transport in the future. This session will explore what is needed to incentivize their uptake and the critical infrastructure required to support this rollout.
