Forty-five hydrogen offtake projects have registered interest under the first round of the European Commission’s clean hydrogen supply and demand matching platform.

The Hydrogen Mechanism, under the EU’s Energy and Raw Materials Platform, saw supply opportunities registered from 265 projects.

Designed to link up producers and offtakers, the mechanism saw 87% of suppliers receive at least one expression of interest, and 50% receive at least three.
