29 October 2024Danish renewables developer European Energy A/S has officially opened a 3-MW green hydrogen production facility that will supply Port Esbjerg and will later form part of a 12-MW electrolysis complex.
The first electrolyser using the technology of Denmark’s Stiesdal A/S was installed in the summer and successfully passed through the commissioning phase, European Energy said on Monday. The facility in Made, Esbjerg, is the company’s first venture into large-scale green hydrogen production.
