Danish hydrogen company Everfuel plans to develop a 2 GW green hydrogen plant at the Revsing Energy Park in Denmark, close to a planned hydrogen pipeline to Germany, it said on Friday.

The Frigg project would be Everfuel’s first large-scale production facility dedicated to hydrogen supply via pipeline to industrial customers in Germany, it added in a statement, with the green gas typically produced from excess renewables.

To this end, there were also plans to connect the hydrogen plant with renewable electricity production from solar and wind, as well as integrate it with local district heating.
