German start-up Greenlyte Carbon Technologies has commissioned a commercial pilot project that will demonstrate its low-cost proprietary technology, which uses 100% solar power to capture carbon dioxide from the air and combines it with water to simultaneously produce streams of near-pure hydrogen and CO₂.
