26 November 2025Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Hydrocarbons and Mines Mohamed Arkab reaffirmed on Wednesday Algeria’s steadfast commitment to forging a strategic partnership with Europe in green hydrogen, hailing it as a cornerstone of both national and global energy transition, according to a ministry statement.
The pledge was delivered by Madjid Miloud, Secretary General of the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Mines, speaking on Arkab’s behalf at the opening of an international conference in Berlin.
The event showcased progress on the Algeria-Europe Hydrogen Alliance (ALTEH2A) and the Southern Hydrogen Corridor (SoutH2).
