The Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH JU)

The Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking is a public-private partnership with three members: the European Union, represented by the European Commission and the Industry and Research Grouping represented by "Hydrogen Europe".

In legal terms, the Joint Undertaking is the legal entity, in which the partners come together to support R&D activities. Formally set up by a Council decision, it is responsible for implementing the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Technology Initiative (FCH JTI), the political initiative proposing this public-private partnership in fuel cell and hydrogen technologies.
For coordinating the inputs of all the members and managing the activities, the Joint Undertaking's governance structure comprises
