Energinet

Energinet is an independent public enterprise owned by the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Utilities of Denmark. We own, operate and develop the transmission systems for electricity and natural gas in Denmark and invest in interconnectors to neighbouring countries.

Energinet contributes to the long-term planning of the energy system and considers all aspects of the Energy Trilemma, including green transition, security of supply and the cost to society.

Energinet finds collaboration across borders and sectors to be essential in order to realise the full potential of the energy system.
