The Role: Project Delivery Manager (PDM)

LIFTE is seeking motivated individuals with experience in energy infrastructure deployment. You will be accountable for the safe delivery of novel systems into first of a kind hydrogen projects on multiple continents through the oversight and management of regional delivery teams and third-party contractors.

As many of LIFTE’s projects have little precedent, you will excel at working with local authorities, customers, local engineering companies, and trades that have little to no experience with hydrogen. You will be resourceful and pragmatic, leveraging LIFTE’s product development, engineering, and asset management teams.

You will have an eye on the current projects in deployment and the future funnel seeking to standardize, replicate, and modularize products and services. Each project deployed in a region should be faster, easier to do, safer, and cheaper.

LIFTE’s PDMs are responsible for protecting and enhancing the safety, quality, and competitiveness of LIFTE projects throughout construction. The successful candidate will have extensive experience managing multi-million dollar construction projects and EPC contractors, and will be a trusted and dynamic team leader.

The PDM will report directly to the Head of Project Delivery.

Your Responsibilities

  • Execute complex, turn-key hydrogen infrastructure projects around the globe from commercial close to commissioning.
  • Ensure that all projects are completed to specification and per local regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Manage a regional team of project delivery managers and contractors (EPC, engineering firms, etc…). Provide organization, direction, and professional dynamic leadership.
  • Continuously grow and mature LIFTE’s project delivery capabilities, including internal processes, tools, and team, and development of third-party partnerships.
  • Accountable for providing oversight and management of all delivery subcontracts; negotiate terms and conditions to minimize value leakage.
  • Brief LIFTE leadership and stakeholders on project progress; escalate and provide solutions for project risks and issues.
  • Contribute to LIFTE’s culture of safety in the delivery of hydrogen projects, especially in the construction, installation, and commissioning phase of plants and refueling stations.
