Your tasks

• Work on future-relevant development projects for new hydrogen systems as part of our decarbonization strategy.
• Accompany the development process starting with the idea, through development and testing to market launch.
• Take responsibility for product design in the conflict of objectives between specification, cost, function, manufacturability, safety and quality.
• Be responsible for the design and system analysis of a compression system for hydrogen, the specification of subcomponents, and the analysis and benchmarking of competitive products.
• Coordinate with external development partners, universities and suppliers in close cooperation with the project purchasing department up to the procurement of prototypes.
• Align development tasks and collaboration in cross-functional teams consisting of development, product management, sales, production and quality.

Your profile

• Successfully completed university degree (university, TU) specializing in mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification.
• In addition several years of professional experience in the field of design of thermodynamic process machines for hydrogen applications.
• Strong understanding of the interaction of individual system components, as well as the interpretation of overall systems and a good knowledge of relevant calculation tools
• Knowledge of hydraulic drive technology is desirable.
• Very good German and English languages skills both written and spoken.
• High degree of initiative, enthusiasm and excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Independent, structured and reliable way of working.
