Senior Technical Expert – Electrolyser

A World Leader in Power Solutions are seeking to expand across the full hydrogen value stream. They are seeking a Senior Technical Expert to drive the improvement of their innovative Electrolyser Technology.
Responsibilities:
- Make significant contributions to technology and NPI development, system architecture, and technical capabilities.
- Manage internal stakeholders at the company and group level and participate in external working groups and communities of interest.
- Act as a point of contact for engineering projects, business units, and cross-functional teams to provide optimal solutions.
- Utilize expertise and network to identify and define future trends and technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and information to support engineering teams and projects.
- Support NPI and business unit projects with electrolyser system-related questions and knowledge.
- Seek opportunities to enhance experience and network within the electrolyser solution business.
- Manage communication with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistent knowledge and information across the business.
- Negotiate with external partners and suppliers to improve their performance as needed by the company.
- Prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment and adjust as needed.
- Evaluate current solutions, methods, and people against state-of-the-art solutions and latest developments.
- Share expertise with colleagues and store knowledge in a reusable manner.
- Identify and propose strategic partnerships to strengthen the electrolyser position in the market.
Seeking:
- High degree level qualification in mechanical or chemical engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical knowledge in electrolyser system business.
- Several years of experience in electrolyser solutions and R&D background.
- Ability to make balanced decisions across technical and business parameters.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills at all levels of the organization.
- Professional representation of the organization and electrolyser system business in customer meetings.
- Ability to effectively transfer knowledge to others.
- Ability to work with multi-disciplinary and international teams.
- Significant engagement and motivation to drive forward electrolyser solution business.
