ITRE votes for fast transition to H2 infrastructure9 February 2023
DA on Additionality finally agreed13 February 2023
French renewable energy producer Qair has announced its purchase of half the shares of H2 Iceland (owned and operated by Orkan) with the objective of tripling the number of hydrogen refuelling stations (HRS), from the current two to six. H2 Iceland has operated two HRS since 2018, one in Reykjavík and the other bordering Keflavik International Airport. An essential step for the energy transition of larger vehicles and heavy-duty transport, the development will also enable H2 cars to travel around the island of Iceland.
