A partnership between RP Global and GIZ was launched at the end of November 2024, at the Argentine-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Argentina) headquarters in Buenos Aires. Officials from the national government and the province of Santa Cruz, representatives from both houses of the National Congress and various companies in the renewable energy and green hydrogen sectors participated in high-level discussions about the prospects and opportunities for green hydrogen in Argentina.

The International Hydrogen Ramp-Up Programme (H2Uppp) of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) initiated a cooperation project (PPP) between GIZ and RP Global to support Argentina in developing green hydrogen and green ammonia projects that could be used for domestic demand and be exported to Europe and Germany.
