Stargate Hydrogen has received a first purchase order for its alkaline electrolyser system from Indian-based BGR Tech Limited.

Under the agreement, the European company will enter the Indian market by providing a Stellar series stack for use in BGR Tech’s first demonstration installation in Chennai.

The agreement will also include the intent to execute other larger electrolyser projects with the option to cooperate with BGR Tech for local manufacturing, addressing the growing green hydrogen project needs between 2024 and 2030.
