Ceres unveils new solid oxide stack for power generation and hydrogen production
15 April 2026German electrolyser maker Sunfire has launched a 50-MW pressurised alkaline electrolyser module that, according to the company, significantly reduces total installed costs for industrial projects and facilitates scaling.
The system is based on Sunfire’s second‑generation 30‑bar(g) pressurised alkaline stack technology that is already in operation in industrial plants across Europe. The new module represents a fivefold increase in capacity compared with Sunfire’s existing 10-MW pressurised alkaline module.
