About the Role:

In this role centered around product development, you will undertake established technical tasks related to current and future products within a specific business unit or corporate domain. 

As the Process and Component Engineer (Lead Engineer), your responsibilities will include coordinating and making critical decisions among various stakeholders such as process product engineers, product line engineers, customer teams, purchasing, suppliers, and manufacturing. 

  • Collect input from stakeholders to make informed product-related decisions.
  • Apply academic knowledge and existing experience to drive projects forward without compromising quality expectations.
  • Implement and enhance processes and tools to facilitate high-quality decision-making.
  • Independently lead complex projects and components with accountability for project outcomes.
  • Lead process and system improvements within a functional discipline area.
  • Coordinate work among technicians and junior engineers, facilitating knowledge transfer and providing guidance within the team.
  • Offer technical guidance within project teams, continuously building expertise in critical competency areas.
  • Act as a recognized specialist in a specific discipline or product area within the immediate team.

About You:

Ideally, you will possess a background in process engineering within the chemical and/or petrochemical industry. However, if you can demonstrate keen attention to detail, resilience, strong communication skills, an analytical mindset, and an interest in process engineering, we encourage you to apply.

Here are some of the Skills and competencies we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline (Petroleum Engineering, Process Engineering).
  • Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline is advantageous.
  • Extensive professional experience in Electrolyser process design, EPC, or related fields such as O&G (refinery), petrochemical, and chemical industries, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Experience in leading processes and managing teams.
  • Proficiency in establishing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Competence in process calculations based on manufacturing capabilities and technical specifications.
  • Ability to draft process design criteria, including process description, process control narrative, operating manual, start-up & shut-down procedures, and SOPs.
  • Experience in performing and reviewing process instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in using Aspen HYSYS and/or Aspen Plus.
  • Fluency in English, along with proficiency in other languages. What We Offer:
