Job Overview:

As the Power-to-X / Hydrogen SME, you will be a critical technical resource, responsible for providing deep industry knowledge, insights, and guidance on hydrogen and Power-to-X technologies. Your expertise will play a vital role in shaping our business strategy and driving the success of our clean energy initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Serve as the go-to expert on Power-to-X and hydrogen technologies, keeping abreast of the latest developments, trends, and best practices in the field.
  • Strategic Guidance: Collaborate closely with the leadership team to develop and refine the company’s strategic direction, ensuring alignment with industry advancements.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of market opportunities, including technology feasibility, economic viability, and regulatory considerations.
  • Client Consultation: Provide technical consultation to clients, partners, and internal teams, helping them navigate complex technical challenges and opportunities.
  • Research and Development: Stay actively involved in research and development efforts, guiding projects related to hydrogen production and Power-to-X processes.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Disseminate knowledge within the organization through presentations, training sessions, and written reports.
  • Thought Leadership: Publish whitepapers, articles, and thought leadership pieces to establish the company as a leader in the field.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the company’s projects and initiatives adhere to industry regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as a subject matter expert in hydrogen or clean energy technologies. Extensive knowledge of hydrogen production methods, fuel cells, electrolysis, and Power-to-X processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining a high level of productivity and accountability.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
