Job Description: Project Engineering Manager:

Our company are a leading player in the hydrogen value chain, offering engineering and technical expertise across various sectors. We specialize in the realization of hydrogen production plants, refuelling stations, and the engineering of fuel cell applications. After successfully establishing a green h2 ecosystem in Europe, we are currently planning Europe’s largest “Power-to-X” plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of FEED and detailed engineering of a billion+ green hydrogen plant by providing technical, operational, and managerial guidance.
  • Oversee project engineering implementation in-line with project plans, and project performance.
  • Manage appointed engineering contractors, monitoring budgets, progress and quality of work, and taking responsibility for efficient contract execution.
  • Guide complex hazardous projects through stages of regulatory compliance and manage the risks associated with emerging legislation.
  • Select and train qualified staff, assign clear roles and responsibilities, provide effective supervision, and manage performance to ensure efficient operations.
  • Ensure the engineering is completed to the required standard of quality and within the timeline and budget parameters.
  • Oversee engineering budget development, monitoring and reporting.
  • Conduct monthly reviews to ensure accountability of all engineering activities and accurate and timely reporting of deliverables and obligations.
  • Ensure that the project progresses in accordance with contractual obligations and complies with regulations and internal organizational policies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Engineering degree.
  • Experience in managing the engineering development of complex process plant projects.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, a structured and results-driven way of working, and a track record of developing/implementing strategic recommendations in a business environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in collaborating with various stakeholders in a team environment.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to build solid working relationships.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
