With a focus on collaborating only with internal stakeholders, you will play a vital part in driving forward our engineering projects to ensure we meet our customers’ expectations.

About the role:

In this constantly changing environment you be anticipating and addressing project delays or changes to ensure we keep on track to deliver our customers products. Being our lead internal project scheduler, you will collaborate closely with our procurement, manufacturing engineers, testing, packaging and logistics teams. Managing and monitoring project progress you will be reporting on and updating plans for any variations that require changes in resources and output, so our Project Managers can update our customers and initiate internal mitigation actions. You will also be:

  • Assisting the Project Managers and Project Controllers with preparation of baseline projects schedules, identification of delays and developing and monitoring recovery plans whenever required.
  • Overseeing project schedules, you will be collaborating with Project Managers, setting tasks, and monitoring the execution of project timelines.
  • Developing standard planning templates that enable us to complete resource load and capacity planning, indicating and reporting our current and future sourcing bottle necks and gaps.
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective scheduling management system.

This role will be considered on a hybrid basis; therefore, you will need to be able to travel to our Oevel plant on a regular basis during the week.

About you:

You will enjoy the rigor of scheduling projects alongside building relationships across a range of stakeholders enabling you to successful challenge and drive project success. You will also have:

  • Solid industry knowledge, within either a manufacturing or oil & gas environment.
  • Experience of coordinating and scheduling a multi-disciplinary technical team through design, procurement, and construction & commissioning phases of projects.
  • Minimum of five years project related-work experience in sector, either as a project manager, controller, or scheduler.
  • Exceptional communication skills, ideally with Dutch as your main language, but English is our main business language so this is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail, in addition to being comfortable making sense of complex, high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems using quality decision making.
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS project.
  • A degree in project manager or relevant experience alongside certification in PMI scheduling would be ideal.
