Responsibilities:

  • Engage prospective customers to understand their requirements and objectives and develop a systematic sales execution plan to build trust and secure Electrolyzer business contracts.
  • Confidently present the Electrolyzer technology to customers, conduct consultative sales meetings, and manage development of customer contracts from initial negotiations to successful account acquisition or project award.
  • Cultivate business relationship with key account customers by articulating and promoting PEM Electrolyzer technology value proposition.
  • Identify international and national engineering service providers, Electrolyzer system manufacturers, EPCs, and hydrogen project developers as your primary customer targets.
  • Coordinate cross-divisional resources (engineering, commercial, legal, manufacturing) in finalization of bid responses to ensure quality, integrity, and accuracy in bid submissions. Responsible for sales price management, including techno-commercial analysis and risk management for project profitability.
  • Leverage multiple resources and utilize tools to demonstrate Electrolyzer capabilities and secure project contracts, including: Electrolyzer technology pilot projects with target customers, capabilities demonstration via facility tours and reference customer sites, and developing customer testimonials with clear value generation references.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 35%

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required (mechanical / industrial / electrical / power systems engineering, or business field with solid technical understanding)
  • Experience and know-how: +8 years of sales development or key account management experience in the hydrogen Electrolyzer, industrial equipment, industrial gas infrastructure, power generation systems, or renewable energy industries; customer and market knowledge in plant engineering, ideally in the electrolysis / hydrogen market.
  • Adaptability and flexibility: Comfortable working in a “start-up” environment, from the technology piloting phase moving into the commercialization and business scaling phase.
  • Solid consultative sales skills with convincing and confident approach at the customer for the sale of technical products, systems, and service.
  • Independent self-starter, action-oriented and results-driven
