Job Scope:

  • The purpose of this role is to take a leading role in the Singapore consulting organization with a particular focus on developing the Early Advisory Services practice in Singapore.
  • The primary purpose of the role is to build and grow the Singapore office business volume and establish and grow the team.
  • Directly supervises: Study Managers, Consultants, Analysts
  • The client focus for the EAS practice will be working with financial and investment clients (private equity, funds, insurance, M&A departments, etc.) to sell strategic advisory and investment advisory work.
  • EAS Business Development: Build client relationships, win strategic work, manage backlog, maximize revenue
  • EAS Marketing: Plan and execute EAS marketing in collaboration with global/KL Marketing team
  • EAS Account Planning: Develop and execute on EAS Account Planning. Adjust and realign planning as required to meeting P&L objectives.
  • EAS Pipeline/ Opportunity Management: Take ownership and drive execution of pipeline and opportunity management. Includes active engagement with clients to drive opportunity identification and conversion.
  • EAS Tendering Oversight: Lead / oversee tendering efforts, aiming to optimize balance between Order Intake and Tendering Efficiency.
  • Ensuring Quality Execution: Ensure quality, manage client stakeholders
  • Project Sponsorship: Act as project sponsor on various client engagements to be a point of reference/ guidance for the team on subject matter at hand, a point of escalation for the client stakeholders and an agent of BD for the organization – driving identification and conversion of new BD opportunities.
  • Project Delivery: Act as a senior project member on various client engagements, gathering project execution experience and guiding the project team in project execution.
  • People Development: Train, develop and mentor more junior resources during BD or project execution efforts.
  • Identify and address skills gaps in the consulting organization
  • Work with P&C to develop training program including the BC Academy and other core consulting skills
  • EAS Offering: Develop and update strategic offering, work with HoMs to identify opportunities

Desired Experience:

  • Principal or Senior Manager coming from an advisory setting (5+ years of senior advisory experience)
  • Due Diligence, financial or strategic advisory, leading team or dedicated offering with Revenue targets
  • Developed or championed new offerings
  • 5+ year experience in energy or related industry
  • Previous Business development responsibilities and/or advisory project management experience.
