Software Test Development Engineer – Commercial Vehicles:
- Your role involves specifying, creating, and executing test cases to validate and verify software for electric commercial vehicles in the field of electromobility.
- You will collaborate closely with the System Architect, Lead Software Architect, and Software Manager.
- Analyzing requirements at both system and component levels to develop functional, integration, and system-level test cases for execution within a Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environment.
- Managing the development of test cases to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Writing clean and efficient code in adherence to coding guidelines and standards.
- Documenting test cases using the Requirements Management tool.
- Executing test cases and recording results in the reporting tool.
- Assisting the Software Architect in analyzing software test failures.
- Efficiently managing multiple tasks and prioritizing to meet deadlines.
Candidate Profile:
- You hold a university degree in a technical field or possess a comparable qualification.
- You possess experience in Automotive Software Verification & Validation Methodologies.
- You have a track record of developing tests based on requirements, including black-box tests, fault-injection tests, etc.
- Familiarity with Automotive Communication Protocols such as CAN, UDS, and DoCAN is essential.
- Some experience with Requirements Management tools like DOORS and Polarion.
- Proficiency in HIL test systems and debugging tools.
- You are adept with industry-standard tools like Vector CANape, CANoe, CANalyzer, dSpace ControlDesk, and AutomationDesk.
- Strong scripting skills using CAPL, PERL, or Python.
- Excellent proficiency in both German and English, along with the ability to work effectively in intercultural teams, completes your profile.
