We are seeking a highly skilled Hydrogen Subject Matter Expert (SME) with expertise in both blue and green hydrogen projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrogen production processes, business development, and a deep understanding of the evolving hydrogen market.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in blue and green hydrogen production technologies, including steam methane reforming (SMR), electrolysis, and other emerging methods.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize hydrogen production processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and adherence to environmental standards.
  • Identify and assess new business opportunities in the blue and green hydrogen space, cultivating strategic partnerships and collaborations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and potential clients.
  • Lead the planning and execution of blue and green hydrogen projects, ensuring they align with company objectives, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
  • Oversee project teams, providing technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies in the hydrogen sector.
  • Conduct market analyses to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in hydrogen production, SMR, AMR or CCUS, with a focus on both blue and green hydrogen projects.
  • Proven track record in business development within the energy sector.

    In-depth knowledge of hydrogen production processes, including SMR, electrolysis, and other emerging technologies.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and lead diverse groups toward common goals.
