By developing technological innovations and novel systems solutions for their customers, the Fraunhofer Institutes help to reinforce the competitive strength of the economy in their region, throughout Germany and in Europe. The Fraunhofer-Institute for Microengineering and Microsystems IMM is part of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft with currently 74 institutes and research units. Our scientists are engaged in research and development in the fields of Energy, Chemistry and Diagnostics. The emphasis is on hydrogen-based energy supply, sustainable chemistry and process analysis as well as personalized diagnostics and liquid biopsy.
