DNV has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PETROJET to accelerate the transition to hydrogen in Egypt.

Under the MoU, the two companies aim to scope areas in which DNV can support PETROJET with its technical knowledge in design verification and project assurance, supporting its goal of becoming a leading hydrogen EPC contractor.

The agreement, signed at the Egypt Petroleum Show (EGYPS 2023), will also ensure renewable power generation and energy storage projects, technical studies for natural gas and hydrogen, natural gas blend infrastructure and technical services for low-carbon hydrogen projects.
