The global pipeline for hydrogen electrolyser projects has expanded by 4%, or 55.2 GW, over the past six months, according to data from Aurora Energy Research.

This increase brings the global electrolyser project pipeline to approximately 1.2 TW, with around 90% already in their early stages of development, according to Aurora.

The data reveals that Europe leads the way in project development, comprising 32% of the capacity share, with Oceania following at 21%.

Around 15 GW of the projected capacity, involving operational and planned projects, is currently awaiting final investment decisions (FIDs).
