We’re on the lookout for a skilled Civil & Structural (CS) Engineer to join our client for a pivotal role in a major industrial project.

As a CS Engineer, you’ll be tasked with overseeing the civil and structural design work for one of the key areas of the project.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring efficient coordination with our engineering partners to achieve cost-effective and timely design solutions.

In this role, you’ll report to the CSA Engineering Lead while actively participating in cross-functional delivery teams.

Responsibilities:

As part of the owner’s engineering team, you will be responsible for engineering assurance within your discipline. Delivery of the work is through our EPCm and OEM partners and you ensure that they get the information and feedback required to deliver the work in a safe, cost-effective and schedule-effective way.
You will represent our client for the civil and structural discipline, being the single point of contact for the delivery and quality of the discipline.
Take ownership of civil and structural engineering and design within your designated area.
Provide leadership and guidance in developing engineering strategies and concepts.
Ensure engineering work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Drive quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization.
Manage the activities of our EPCM engineering partners for civil & structural engineering.
Develop and implement engineering standards and procedures to maintain consistency and quality.

Experience:

Demonstrable experience in major industrial capital projects.
Strong knowledge of industrial-scale steel and concrete structures.
Previous exposure to Scandinavian building codes and standards.
Proven track record in project planning, execution, management, and stakeholder communication.
Extensive experience collaborating with EPCM civil construction engineers.
Familiarity with industry best practices and change management.
Recent experience in managing engineering and construction activities in large capital projects.
Proficiency in managing engineering partners.

Advanced verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
