The role of the Contract & Procurement Manager for Carbon Logistics & Storage involves overseeing procurement activities in accordance with our clients policies. This position entails leading sourcing strategies, evaluating suppliers, managing tender processes, and handling purchasing operations, serving as the principal expert for CP. Key responsibilities include developing and standardizing CP processes and systems, establishing a reliable supplier portfolio, creating sustainable framework contracts with strategic partners, and fostering collaborative relationships with suppliers while facilitating regular contract performance assessments.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and supervise the Sourcing Strategy for Carbon Logistics & Storage.
- Manage a portfolio of framework contracts for Carbon Logistics & Storage.
- Coordinate with project and logistics personnel to identify, approve, and procure necessary resources in a timely, well-documented, and cost-effective manner.
- Maintain and update a supplier database, securing preferred supplier agreements for recurring supply needs and services.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and service level agreements with suppliers.
- Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with obligations.
- Mitigate commercial risks and resolve contractual disputes as needed.
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in contract management of logistics services and procurement/sourcing of logistics services is mandatory.
- Familiarity with Carbon Capture Storage projects and associated logistics requirements is desirable.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills for effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
