Founded on a profound and long-standing know how in fuel cell technology, cellcentric, a 50:50 joint venture between Daimler Truck AG and the Volvo Group, is responsible for all activities along the entire value chain for fuel cell systems: from research and development through production to marketing of fuel cells to areas of application even outside vehicles. The ambition is to make cellcentric a leading global manufacturer of fuel cells, and thus help the world take a major step towards climate-neutral and sustainable transportation by 2050.

The RD Powertrain Integration team is responsible for the system engineering for the high-voltage architectures of the fuel cell systems. Fuel cell systems are being developed into series products for commercial vehicles and for stationary applications.

Responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for the layout and design of high-voltage topologies (up to 800V) for fuel cell systems for automotive and stationary applications
  • You design and develop the HV safety concept, taking functional and non-functional requirements into account
  • Your tasks include the technical coordination and alignment of the HV architecture interfaces and the HV  safety concept for the customer and his applications
  • You derive the requirements for high-voltage components of the fuel cell system
  • You are responsible for the design and planning of the product design verification measures
  • You will carry out and evaluate verification tests on the test benches at our location and in customer applications
  • You will support the product approval process

Experience and Qualification:

  • You have successfully completed a university degree in electrical engineering, electromobility or comparable
  • You have development experience in the automotive sector and are familiar with national and international standards
  • You work independently, responsibly and self-motivated
  • You are fluent in English and in German
