Your accountabilities:

  • You will be accountable for developing with customers and partners large project concepts (100MW to 1GW) and establish the setup and resources required to be successful on those mega projects.
  • You will typically work on large scale industrial projects focused on renewable-based hydrogen production, distribution and integration towards end-customer value chain.
  • You will be involved in projects which may range from exploratory to thorough technical and economic feasibility studies with their associated, complex licensing applications, structuring, financing, grant funding stages to accompany the customer journey.
  • With the support of the internal organization and/or external consultants, you will recommend to the Sales Vice President and the extended teams, the overall project strategy, schedule, deliverables, proposal strategy, to acquire successfully those large projects.
  • You will lead, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary project team and the corporate review team, the preparation of all necessary documents for internal approval and documentation: Advanced Notices, Investment Notes and related memos, strategic and country notes as required, risk matrixes and assumptions books as required, various applicable reports.
  • You will be a promoter of H-TEC as a green hydrogen solution provider. You will propose and participate to various relevant conferences, including as speaker or panelist and organize workshops with various business prospects.
  • You will also contribute to the business development department tasks depending on organizational needs and previous experiences.

Your profile:

  • You are graduated in engineering, finance or economics, with proven technical/financial/commercial expertise in large industrial energy projects, including preferably in the area of renewable energy and industrial gases.
  • You are an innovative entrepreneur, a genuine networker and curious by nature.
  • You have a flexible attitude, you are innovative, creative and able to challenge the boundaries, being able to take the various internal and external parties involved out of the box.
  • You are a real problem-solver, result-driven, positive-minded, combined with enormous enthusiasm and perseverance.
  • You have good leadership skills that allow you to work through a project from A to Z with other departments and external stakeholders.
  • You have several years of operational experience in Business Development (face to face with the customers and local authorities).
  • You have a minimum of 7 years working experience in the hydrogen and energy sectors.
  • You speak and write fluently in English, further languages (Dutch, Norwegian, Spanish, Danish, Swedish, German) welcome.
