We are focused on reshaping our portfolio to reflect its energy transition aims, including decarbonization initiatives, hydrogen projects, e-mobility solutions, biomethane & bio-LNG.

The Position:

As Business Development Manager / Senior Manager, you will report directly to the Hydrogen VP. Your main mission is to assess the market opportunities, identify prospects and lead the business development and commercial activities for Green H2/e-fuels projects and sales with primary focus on European Market (see respectively Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland, UK and Scandinavian countries).

Your key responsibilities:

  • You are in charge of building and developing our hydrogen business in your geographical perimeter.
  • You create and develop business models and asset project options for hydrogen.
  • You steer and coordinate activities along the full hydrogen value chain (from energy supply, production, conversion, midstream, sales).
  • You lead customer/partners negotiations; Develop project investment case; ensure internal buy-in and ensure a return on investment.
  • You analyze legislation and translate trends into concrete commercial recommendations for the business
  • You Identify and secure new deals and customers, and form business and development partnerships (technology partners, engineering partners, business and investment partners, customers, etc.)

The successful candidate has:

  • Strong technical and commercial background with BSc/MSc in Engineering, MBA degree is preferred.
  • Business development track record
  • Technical experience – to understand renewable power generation systems and electrolyser and hydrogen processes,
  • Sector experience – preferably from hydrogen, chemical, industrial gases, utilities and power industry.
  • Financial acumen related to business and project development
  • Excellent English language skills (spoken & written) for all roles.
