Purpose of the Job:
Empower sales representatives in expanding their portfolios and increasing turnover through technical expertise. The Technical Sales Support Engineer Supervisor oversees the Technical Sales Team, bridging communication between sales and technical teams, ensuring clear documentation, and supporting various activities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop product expertise.
- Create and update customer Business Plans and Economic models.
- Manage a team of sales engineers.
- Maintain strong customer relationships.
- Coordinate multiple opportunities concurrently.
- Collaborate with various departments during the sales cycle.
- Create sales tools and training material.
- Participate in new hire and training sessions.
- Develop learning plans and goals for sales engineers.
- Provide technical and business leadership for the SE organization.
- Maintain and grow existing business relationships.
- Manage Technical Sales Team goals and daily activities.
- Develop sales support documents and tools.
- Collaborate on offer standards, pricing, and commercial terms.
- Contribute to communication tools and sales materials.
- Establish and manage commercial and project databases.
- Participate in strategic meetings and accompany sales representatives at events.
Requirements:
- General engineer or technician (Bac +3 to 5 technical stream)
- 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B environments, ideally in hydrogen, energy, gas, or industrial processes.
- Experience in creating complex business plans and Economic Models (essential)
- Software: Office tools, databases, CRM.
- Languages: Fluent in English, other language appreciated.
- Company knowledge: products, professions, industrial resources, organization.
- Sales principles and techniques.
- Technology: drawing, reading, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, energy processes.
- Working within and managing a cross-functional team.
- Analysing needs and developing technical and financial solutions.
- Setting up and managing databases.
- Drawing up quotes.
