thyssenkrupp nucera has agreed to collaborate with Neste to incorporate a 120MW water electrolyser into the latter’s Porvoo refinery in Finland.

Neste is a leading global producer sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), renewable diesel and feedstocks for various applications in the polymer and chemical industries and has signed an agreement with thyssenkrupp to produce green hydrogen at its refinery.

The agreement will see the supply of six standardised 20MW scalum® modules with a total installed capacity of 120MW, including corresponding advisory services.
