Green hydrogen will be essential for a successful energy transition in Germany. In this regard, the production of green hydrogen will relieve grids as it can be used as an energy storage. Existing pipelines can be used to transport green hydrogen in a cheaper way, helping Germany and the EU to meet their climate goals.
